- Sign up to ACE Cash Express
- Open an ACE Flare™ Account by MetaBank®
- Open an additional Savings account
- Set up to receive at least $500 in direct deposits every month
- Earn 6.00% APY on up to $2,000 (0.50% APY thereafter)

The Monthly Fee
- $9.95/month: Standard monthly service fee for accounts that do not receive the qualifying direct deposits for the lower $5 Monthly Fee (See below).
- $5.00/month: Monthly service fee for accounts that receive Direct Deposit(s) totaling at least $500.00 in one (1) calendar month. Upon qualifying, your Monthly Fee will be lowered to $5.00. Subsequent Direct Deposits are not required to keep the lower Monthly Fee.
Bottom Line
ACE Cash Express has an amazing rate for their ACE Flare™ Account by MetaBank®. But, it’s only good for low balances up to $2,000. You’ll have to open an additional savings account and set up direct deposits of at least $500 per month.
