HSBC Bonus: $6,000 In Referrals For You, Up to $1,000 For Them

You can earn up to $6,000 in referral bonuses per calendar year, $300 per referral, when someone you refer opens a qualifying Checking account. The people you refer can also earn up to a $400 bonus as well.

• You can receive up to $6,000 when friends or family open a qualifying HSBC Premier checking account using your referral code.
• Plus, they can earn a one-time bonus, up to $1,000, with qualifying activities.
• You must be an HSBC Premier client to refer friends or family with this offer.

How To Get Your $6000 In Bonuses

• To refer a friend, you must be an HSBC Premier customer.
• Log-on to Personal Internet Banking to view your Share the Experience referral page and personalized referral code.
• After you log-on to Personal Internet Banking, share your personalized referral code with friends by either:
  • providing them with your personalized referral code
  • printing the referral form, which contains your personalized code
• Remind the person you referred to provide your personalized referral code at account opening. They must open the eligible New Account in an HSBC branch, over the phone at 800.975.4722 (HSBC) or online at us.hsbc.com/refer for you to receive credit for the referral.
• Your referral bonus will be deposited to your qualifying HSBC Premier checking account within 8 – 12 weeks of your referral’s account opening.
• You’ll receive a $300 deposit for each qualified referral. Limit of $6,000 in earnings per calendar year.

How Your Friend Earns Bonuses

• The New Account must meet qualifying requirements pursuant to the relationship requirements discussed below.
• If using the combined deposit and/or eligible investment balances for qualification purposes, the balance must be New Money.
• If all offer requirements are met, the New Customer Bonus will be deposited to the New Account within 8-12 weeks from the date the New Account is fully qualified. 
• The New Account bonus is $500 for a New Account with Qualifying Balances of $75,000.00-$499,999.99 in deposit and/or eligible investment accounts OR $1,000 for a New Account with Qualifying Balances in deposit and/or eligible investment accounts over $500,000.00 or more.

• This offer is only valid for customers with an HSBC Premier account in the United States (“Eligible Account”) who have access to HSBC Personal Internet Banking (“PIB”).
• Employees, officers, directors, agents or representatives of HSBC and/or Household Members of such person, including any joint account owners, are not eligible.
• “Household Members” shall mean those people who share the same residence.
• You will receive a $300 referral bonus (“Referral Bonus”) to your Eligible Account for each referral who opens a new HSBC Premier checking account (“New Account”), limited to 20 Referral Bonuses per calendar year up to $6,000.
• Refer to PIB for your personalized referral code.
• The New Account must be opened in a U.S. HSBC Wealth Center, over the phone, or online at us.hsbc.com/refer.
• Your Eligible Account must be open and in good standing at time of Referral Bonus fulfillment.
• Your Referral Bonus will be deposited to your Eligible Account within 8 weeks of your referral’s New Account opening.
• The referral’s New Account must remain open for at least 21 calendar days. 
• Customers who have a current or past HSBC account in the U.S. on file are not eligible for this offer. 
• The individual you refer must provide your personalized referral code at account opening for you to qualify to receive the Referral Bonus.
