About The Offer
There are two new offers on American Express credit cards that can save you up to $20 on groceries. This offer is on both personal and business Amex credit cards. Ends 12/31/2022.
We’ve seen these two versions of the offer:
- Get 5% back as a statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make purchases in-store or online at a U.S. Supermarket by 12/31/22. Limit of $20 in total statement credits.
- Get 10% back as a statement credit by using your enrolled Card to make purchases in-store or online at a U.S. Supermarket by 12/31/22. Limit of $20 in total statement credits.
Terms:
- Excludes pharmacy and indoor vendor purchases such as coffee shops and restaurants.
- “Supermarket” means a standalone merchant in the U.S. primarily selling supermarket products.
- Excludes gasoline purchases and gift card purchases.
- Specialty Food Stores, Superstores, and Warehouse Clubs are not considered Supermarket stores.
About Amex Offers
Amex Offers are an extra perk that come with all American Express credit cards, charge cards, and even prepaid cards.
You can get a statement credit or more Membership Rewards points when you spend a certain amount at an eligible merchant. You will have to add the offer to a specific card and then use that card to get the credit.
You should put the offer on the card you like best. Each person can only get one Amex Offer at a time. The same offer can be used both as a Membership Rewards offer and as a statement credit offer.

Bottom Line
