To waive the monthly fee for U.S. Bank Smartly Checking:

Bottom Line
The $400 checking bonus isn’t as good as the recent $500 bonus. If you missed out on the $500 bonus last time, I would suggest waiting for it to hopefully come back.
For the savings bonus, you have to keep at least $25,000 tied up for three months. Instead, if you put that money in a regular savings account earning 4%+ APY, you would earn $250 anyway without having to open a new account.
