Buy One Get One Airfare
myAllegiant doesn’t do elite status, but they do offer BOGO vacation packages for Allegiant World Mastercard members. This benefit lets you claim one free companion airfare when you book a vacation package through Allegiant.com. To qualify, the package must be:
- For 4+ hotel nights or 7+ rental car days on the same itinerary
- Purchased with the member’s Allegiant World Mastercard, and the member must be a passenger on the itinerary
- Booked, purchased and ticketed at the same time
And yes, you earn myAllegiant Points on BOGO bookings.
Other Credit Card Benefits
Other perks of being an Allegiant World Mastercard credit cardholder include priority boarding and one free beverage when you fly Allegiant.
Redeeming myAllegiant Points
Use your myAllegiant Points for Allegiant flights, hotel packages and car rentals booked via Allegiant.com. Each myAllegiant Point is worth $0.01 for these redemptions. That means if a flight costs $150, you’ll need 15,000 points to book it. All seats are available for award booking, with no blackout dates or destination restrictions.
You can also redeem for travel extras, like checked and carry-on bags, beverages, seat assignments, priority boarding and more. But we don’t recommend it as these redemptions don’t offer as much value for your myAllegiant Points.
myAllegiant Points Expiration
myAllegiant Points never expire, but they will be forfeited if your Allegiant World Mastercard account is closed for any reason.
Alternative to myAllegiant
myAllegiant offers some nice perks. However, if you don’t fly on Allegiant Air much, you should consider frequent flyer programs from larger budget airlines such as Southwest Airlines, which also offers plenty of flights out of Las Vegas and regional airports. Southwest Airline’s Rapid Rewards® offers high earning potential and a strong average points value. For further reading, see our post on the best ways to redeem Rapid Reward points.
After reading our two posts on Southwest Airline’s Rapid Rewards program, you will discover that it is a better alternative to myAlligient. If you decide to start earning Rapid Rewards points, consider these cobranded cards that will help you kickstart your journey.

You’ll also get 7,500 bonus points after your Cardmember anniversary, fast-track to elite status, and a $75 annual Southwest travel credit.
Earn 3 points for every $1 spent on Southwest Airline purchases. Also, earn 2 points for every $1 spent on local transit and commuting, including rideshare, and on internet, cable, phone services, and select streaming. You’ll get 1 point for every $1 on all other purchases.

Bottom Line
Allegiant Air’s myAllegiant is a good fit for those who fly with the airline frequently, who like to travel with a companion, and for those who book travel packages a few times a year. The points you earn with the Allegiant World Mastercard, along with the BOGO fare option, can save you the cost of a ticket. But if you don’t often fly Allegiant, myAllegiant might not be worth your time and effort.
