The Carnival World Mastercard has an offer for 20,000 bonus points after spending $200 in the first 90 days (ways to meet this spending requirement). That’s enough points for a $200 statement credit. Plus earn 2x FunPoints for every dollar spent in year 1 as a cardmember. Although not the best welcome offer out there, it’s a decent once considering there’s no annual cost.
Carnival Cruise Line is the largest cruise company in the world, based on number of passengers carried each year, annual revenue and total number of ships in fleet. Under the World’s Leading Cruise Lines, Carnival’s partner brands include AIDA, Costa, Cunard, Holland America, Princess Cruises, P&O Cruises Australia, P&O Cruises UK and Seabourn.
With double points for cruise-related purchases, you should only consider the Carnival World Mastercard if you’re an avid guest with the cruise line or its partners. Not big on cruises? Then a general travel rewards card will give you more value for your spending.
*The Carnival World Mastercard is issued by Barclays. See our Barclays page for their bank account offers.
