CareerBuilder For Employers In A Nutshell

CareerBuilder has been connecting employers with job seekers for over twenty years. The site boasts AI-powered candidate matching as well as job listings that can integrate with ATS software. Getting in touch with the right candidates is made easy with advanced keyword and Boolean search options, along with the ability to source and identify talent by geographical location.

Hilton, The Home Depot, Accenture and Advocate Health Care all use CareerBuilder to recruit candidates.

CareerBuilder for employers has three plans to choose from – Lite, Standard and Pro – as well as a Build Your Own Plan. All packages feature resumes and social profiles searches, resume match notifications, application alerts and custom lists for candidate management.

ZipRecruiter vs. CareerBuilder For Employers: Similarities

Both ZipRecruiter and CareerBuilder offer the basics when it comes to recruiting candidates, including:

  • Resume database
  • Resume search
  • Activity dashboard
  • Social advertising
  • Customizable branding
  • Real-time notifications
  • Phone support
  • Online support

ZipRecruiter vs. CareerBuilder For Employers: Differences

While ZipRecruiter posts jobs to over 100 online job boards, CareerBuilder only posts on its own platform. That said, CareerBuilder provides far more integrations with existing HR management systems. Overall, CareerBuilder offers more robust features and tools, and their plans are priced competitively.

Bottom Line

ZipRecruiter and CareerBuilder are both great solutions for employers who want to find top-notch candidates. ZipRecruiter lets you post to more job boards, so you’ll get more eyes on your listing. However, we’d say CareerBuilder is the better option for finding the right candidate for an open position.
