The Zions Bank Elite Visa Card has an introductory offer for $300 bonus cash or 30,000 bonus points (depending on which rewards program you choose) when you spend $5,000 within the first 90 days. According to Zions Bank, both offers are worth $300. With an annual fee of $195, the welcome bonus will cover the card’s cost for only one year. See our list for more travel credit cards such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card.
The Zions Bank Elite card offers triple rewards on travel and dining, and 1.5% cash back or 1.5x points on everything else. It also comes with a $100 annual travel credit.
Unfortunately, however, not everyone is eligible to apply. The Zions Bank Elite card is only available in states where the issuer operates (more on that below).

$300 Bonus Cash or 30,000 Bonus Points Offer
Take advantage of the Zions Bank Elite card’s introductory offer: $300 bonus cash or 30,000 bonus points. Thirty-thousand points are worth $300, so the bonus value is the same no matter which rewards program you choose.
To qualify, charge at least $5,000 to your card within the first 90 days of opening your account.
Here are some ideas on meeting the spending requirement.
Redeeming Zions Bank Elite Rewards
When the time comes to redeem your Zions Bank Elite rewards, the process is slightly different if you’re enrolled in the Amazing Cash program compared to the Amazing Rewards program.
Amazing Cash Program
As soon as you rack up $25 in rewards, you can redeem it in any whole dollar amount as credit to your Zions Bank card or as credit to a Zions Bank deposit account. Amazing Cash rewards never expire as long as your account is open.
Amazing Rewards Program
Each Amazing Rewards point is worth the standard $0.01, which means 100 points equal $1. You can only use your points as statement credits on items purchased within the last 90 days. You must also have a minimum of 2,500 points (or $25) to redeem. Amazing Rewards points never expire as long as your account is open.
Zions Bank Elite Card Top Features
Receive a $100 travel credit every year. Qualifying purchases are items billed in a variety of merchant categories, including airlines, rental cars, hotels, cruise lines, travel agencies, airport terminals, Global Entry, TSA Precheck and Gogo inflight WiFi.
This feature covers more than half of the card’s annual cost.
Make purchases abroad without worrying about foreign transaction fees with the Zions Bank Elite card.
Zions Bank Elite Card Availability
The Zions Bank Elite card is only available to those who live near a Zions Bank. That includes residents of Idaho, Utah and Wyoming.
It’s hard to recommend the Zions Bank Elite Visa card. Although it offers relatively good earning potential and an annual travel credit, the card’s high cost is still hard to justify.
But if you don’t live near a Zions Bank, you’ll have to consider other credit card options.
