Chase has recently increased the points value for offsetting the annual fee on its United Explorer, Quest, and Club Infinite Cards. By utilizing the Pay-Yourself-Back feature, cardholders can now get more out of their accumulated points when applying them towards their annual fee as a statement credit.

United Club Infinite: More Value for Higher Annual Fee
The United Club Infinite Card, known for its premium benefits and services, has a $525 annual fee. Previously, cardholders could offset the annual fee by redeeming points at a rate of 1.5 cents per point. With the recent enhancement, however, the value of points has increased to 1.75 cents per point.
This means that to offset the full annual fee, United Club Infinite Cardholders would need to redeem approximately 30,000 miles.

United Quest: Affordable Annual Fee and Enhanced Points Value
For United Quest Cardholders, who enjoy the card’s attractive travel perks and benefits, the annual fee of $250 can now be offset more favorably using points. Previously, the points-to-fee ratio stood at 1.5 cents per point. However, with the recent adjustment, the value has risen to 1.6 cents per point.
To fully offset the annual fee, Quest Cardholders would need to redeem around 15,625 miles, providing them with a tangible boost in value.

United Explorer and United Business Explorer: Lower Annual Fee, Still Good Value
United Explorer and United Business Explorer Cardholders have also gotten an improvement in points value for offsetting their annual fees.
Previously, the redemption rate for both cards was set at 1.5 cents per point. With the new update, the value has slightly increased, making it 1.52 cents per point for the United Explorer Card and 1.5 cents per point for the United Business Explorer Card.
To fully offset the $95 annual fee of the United Explorer Card, cardholders would need to redeem approximately 6,250 miles, while the $99 annual fee of the United Business Explorer Card could be offset with around 6,600 miles.
