I deposited 50K for the 450.00 bonus and Capital one says it is a “targeted “ email campaign not for everyone. They say websites put promotions without their approval and do not know the details, use caution….
I have called for the last 3 month, they keep saying you will get it next month. Tonight the call went like this: out of country rep could have been India (very nice) 15 minutes looks like you qualify transfer to states, 10 minutes yep you qualify transfers to manager, nope you need had had the targeted email, you do not have the email? I was honest and said no, I saw it on My money life. Well you do not qualify, let me ask for an exception, you will get an email in 20 days to the decision.
I made the deposit but they didn’t give me the bonus either then I contacted them, they deposited the bonus to my account!
Everyone, BE CAREFUL with CaptialOne. The $400 bonus doesn’t work. They say you apply with promocode “BONUS400” but the option to put the promo code doesn’t exist in the actual application process. Maybe it’s state specific, who knows…
I was foolish and proceeded with the whole application, thinking why not? since I started on the page advertising the promo. I called them immediately after to confirm. They told me the promo code wasn’t applied and to call them 3 months later for a “review” so then can “possibly” make an exception and give me the bonus. HAHAHAHA B***H PLEASE! These people are basically running a scam.
Not sure what you are talking about. I had the Promo code option on my application.
have you rcvd the 400
I did not have the option to add the promo code either.
I love my Capital One credit card and got all my promos from that without issue: $500 cash bonus if I spent $xx within a certain time), plus the cashback amount has been around $550-$600 every year.
I’m wondering if we can’t get this promo to work because it’s from this page and may come up as a referral link, meaning the person who posted the link gets a bonus and maybe we get a bonus if we do a certain thing. Looks like those bonuses are usually $25-$100 depending on what you do. I only signed up for the $400 bonus, so I am closing the checking account.
