The Princess Cruises Rewards Visa Card has an offer for 10,000 bonus points when you make your first card purchase. We value these points to be worth around $100. Although not the best welcome offer around, it’s a decent one for a card with no annual fee. See our list for more travel credit cards such as the Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card.
The Princess Cruises Rewards card provides solid value for families who vacation with the cruise line often. But other than the introductory offer and double points on Princess Cruises spending, you won’t get much else out of this no-frills card.
If you aren’t a frequent cruiser, you’ll want to look into a general travel rewards card instead.
*The Princess Cruises Rewards Visa is issued by Barclays. Barclays also offers great sign-up bonuses for its Checking/Savings accounts.
Princess Cruises Rewards Card 10,000 Bonus Points Offer
Take advantage of the Princess Cruises Rewards card’s introductory offer: 10,000 bonus points. My valuation puts these points at around $100 in value (more on that below).
To qualify, charge one purchase to your card. There’s no spend amount or time limit to worry about.
What Are Princess Cruises Points Worth?
Like many other rewards cards, your points’ worth depends on how you use them. On average, a Princess Cruises point is worth $0.01. That’s the average points value you’ll get across different credit cards.
You can use your Princess Cruises points towards:
- Onboard amenities (when available)
- Airfare, hotel and car rentals booked via BarclaycardUS.com or by calling customer service
- Gift cards or certificates
But the best use for your points is to redeem for statement credits toward cruise purchases.
|Statement credit amount||Value per point|
|$500 – $2,000.99||$0.0125|
|$2,001 – $4,000.99||$0.015|
You can also use your points for statement credits against airline purchases as long as they’re at least $50. But this option yields a value of only $0.01 per point.
You can redeem your points for statement credits on Princess Cruises and its partners.

The Princess Cruises Rewards Visa card won’t be the best choice for most people. Yes, it offers a sign-up bonus and double points on Princess Cruises spending with no annual fee. But you’ll get rewarded just the same with the Carnival World Mastercard, plus a 10% discount refund for pre-booked excursions.
Not a big cruiser? Then you’ll want to check out general travel rewards cards instead.
