The JetBlue Credit Card has an offer for 10,000 TrueBlue bonus points when you spend $1,000 within the first 90 days. We value these points to be worth around $130. Read our guide to the TrueBlue program for more information on how to redeem those points. Although not the best bonus out there, it’s a good one considering there’s no cost to carry the card. The Delta SkyMiles® Gold American Express Card also offers an introductory bonus with comparable spending requirements. For more airline credit card bonuses, see our list.
Designed for JetBlue loyalists, this airline-branded card gives triple points on JetBlue purchases as well as double points on restaurant and grocery store expenses. You’ll earn yourself a free flight in no time with this generous rewards structure. Plus, enjoy a 50% discount on eligible inflight purchases.
But if you don’t frequently fly with JetBlue, consider a non-branded travel card instead.
*The JetBlue card is issued by Barclays. Barclays also offers great sign-up bonuses for its Checking/Savings accounts.

JetBlue Card 10,000 Bonus Points Offer
Take advantage of the JetBlue card’s 10,000 TrueBlue bonus points introductory offer. My valuation puts these points at around $130 (more on that below).
To qualify, charge at least $1,000 to your card within the first 90 days of opening your account.
Here are some ideas on meeting the spending requirement:
What Are TrueBlue Points Worth?
Like many other airline-branded credit cards, the value of your points depends on how you use them. On average, each TrueBlue point is worth $0.013. That’s a decent value considering different rewards cards offer an average of $0.01 per point.
You can use your TrueBlue points for:
- Flights and seat upgrades with JetBlue
- Flights with Hawaiian Airlines
- JetBlue vacation packages
- Magazine & newspaper subscriptions
- Donations to charities
Unlike many airline loyalty programs, TrueBlue offers great value for all its redemption options. No matter what you use your points for, your rewards are worth over $0.01 per point.
JetBlue Card Top Features
Get a 50% discount on eligible inflight food and drink purchases. These include meals, cocktails, beer and wine on JetBlue-operated flights. Unfortunately, the discount does not apply to other inflight purchases like pillows, earphones or upgraded seats.
Your discount will appear as statement credit 4 to 6 weeks after you made the transaction.
This feature lets you combine TrueBlue points with other members at no extra cost. So you can earn points easier and faster. “Families” max out at 2 adults and 5 children. At the very least, there must be 2 people in a Family Pooling account.
Make purchases abroad without worrying about foreign transaction fees. Although this perk is more common nowadays, it’s still worth noting.
The JetBlue credit card is a good fit if:
- You live near a JetBlue hub,
- You want a low-cost airline rewards card, and
- You want bonus rewards on everyday spending.
If all of the above does not apply to you, consider a general travel card with flexible rewards instead.
