If you’re a Citi AAdvantage cardholder, you might be eligible to earn a referral bonus by referring your friends. Citi has sent out emails to some cardholders offering them the chance to refer friends and earn $100 for each person they refer, with a maximum limit of $500 per year.

Cardholders of the Citi / American Airlines AAdvantage co-branded cards have the opportunity to earn $100 for each person you refer. To be eligible, you must have received an email directly from Citi, or you can try logging in with your Citi AAdvantage card credentials. Please note that this offer only applies to personal credit cards.
If you’re eligible, you can generate a referral link and share it with your friends. Your friends can then apply for one of three different cards and receive the corresponding bonus. The cards are:
- Citi / AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard Credit Card, which offers 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles after spending $2,500 on purchases in the first 3 months of account opening. The annual fee is $99, but it’s waived for the first 12 months.
- American Airlines AAdvantage MileUp Mastercard Credit Card, which offers 10,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles and a $50 statement credit after making $500 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. There’s no annual fee for this card.
- Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard Credit Card, which offers 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles after spending $5,000 on purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. The annual fee for this card is $450.
This offer is valid through December 31, 2023. Remember, you can only participate if you’ve been specifically invited by Citi.
