The Choice Privileges Visa Signature Card has an offer for 32,000 bonus points when you spend $1,000 within the first 90 days. We value these points to be worth around $192. Although not the best welcome offer out there, it’s a solid one for a card with no annual fee. A competitor, the Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card, also comes with no annual fee. See our list for more hotel credit cards.
The Choice Privileges Visa Signature card gives you bonus points for Choice Hotels and everyday purchases. These points can then be used towards complimentary nights and other awards. You’ll also enjoy automatic Elite Gold status and all the perks that come with this membership.
If you’re not a huge Choice Hotels fan, or you don’t stay at hotels often, then you’d be better off with a non-branded rewards card instead.
Choice Privileges Credit Card 32,000 Bonus Points Offer
Take advantage of the Choice Privileges credit card’s introductory offer: 32,000 bonus points. My valuation puts these points at around $192 in value (more on that below).
To qualify, charge at least $1,000 to your card within the first 90 days of opening your account.
Here are some ideas on meeting the spending requirement:
What Are Choice Privileges Points Worth?
Like many other hotel-branded credit cards, your points’ worth depends on how you use them. The value of a Choice Privileges point averages around $0.006. So, 32,000 points would be worth approximately $192.
Most hotel rewards cards have similar low individual point values. The card’s high earn rate for Choice Hotels purchases make up for it.
You can use your Choice Privileges points towards:
- Stays at Choice hotels, resorts or vacation homes
- Gift cards
- Magazine subscriptions
- Charity donations
You can also:
- Exchange for miles with partnered airline loyalty programs (see below)
- Trade for Amtrak Guest Rewards points
- Redeem for credit on 20+ cruise lines
You can exchange your Choice Privileges points with partner airlines.
But you’ll get the best value for your points by using them for stays at Choice Hotels.
If you often stay at Choice Hotels, then the Choice Privileges Visa Signature card is an excellent option. It’s got serious bonus points on hotel stays and elite membership perks. Otherwise, you should consider another co-branded or general travel rewards card.
