Shopkick 250 Bonus Kicks Referral Program
The Shopkick referral program rewards you with 250 bonus kicks for every person who signs up with your unique referral code. That converts to $1 on a gift card.
How Shopkick Works

Shopkick is an app that rewards you for going into stores, scanning certain items and much more. Whenever you check-in with a partner, you’re rewarded in “kicks.” Redeem your kicks for free digital gift cards. To get started, download the app, turn on your Bluetooth and look at what kind of kicks are available for you.
Ways To Earn Kicks
Like Foursquare, Shopkick rewards you for checking in at certain locations (25+ kicks). Participating retailers include Best Buy, Crate & Barrel, Kroger, Macy’s, Target, TJ Maxx and more.
Other ways to earn kicks include:
Scanning select items in store | 10+ kicks |
Scanning receipts for purchases of select items | 100+ kicks |
Linking a card to the app | 200 kicks |
Buying select items with the linked card | 100+ kicks |
Watching vides in the app | 5 kicks |
Visiting online shops | 10 kicks |
Referring a friend to Shopkick | 250 kicks |
There’s also an “offers” tab to see what discounts are available near you, for example 15% off your purchase at American Eagle.
Ways To Redeem Kicks
To redeem your kicks, select which gift card you want and the app will let you know when it’s time to cash in. There’s a minimum redemption threshold of 1,250 points, or $5 on a gift card.
Once you have a gift card to use, let the cashier scan the barcode of the gift card right from your Shopkick app. Your gift card choices include Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Macy’s, Old Navy, Starbucks, Target, TJ Maxx, Walmart and more.
Bottom Line
Shopkick is an easy way to earn some extra pocket money, by doing simple things like checking in at a store or scanning a product.
You might also want to consider Dosh, an app that gives you more cashback opportunities on every purchase. They currently have a $1 welcome bonus and $5 referral bonuses.
