RVShare requires renters to be at least 25 years old, have a valid driver’s license and at least three years of driving history, and you must pass a DMV check.

Listing An RV

RVShare lets RV owners earn money on their rig, so it’s not just sitting in the garage collecting dust. Creating a listing is quick and easy. Start by entering details, upload photos, then name your price. You’ll also need to decide if (and how much) you want to charge as a security deposit. There’s a Pricing Suggestions feature that makes the whole pricing process a breeze.

RVShare lets you accept or reject booking requests. Once the renter picks up your RV, the money is released – minus the site fees – within 24 hours.

RVShare Rates

Like any other service, RVShare charges a fee on every transaction. The amount you pay depends on whether you’re a renter or an owner. Let’s take a closer look below.

Renter Fees

RVShare charges renters a site fee, plus a daily premium for the roadside assistance and insurance policy. When we did the math, we found that these charges added approximately 30% to the rental cost.

Other fees you might incur include post-trip, cleaning, dumping late, pet, refueling and abandonment fees.

Owner Fees

RVShare charges owners approximately 25% commission on the rental rate. There’s also a 10% commission on post-trip fees, including:

Penalty fee for not refilling the propane tank
Cleaning fee (if you don’t submit a cleaner’s invoice)

Post-trip fees do not include tolls, traffic violations and damages that may have incurred during the rental.
