About The Contest
ELIGIBILITY: THE GAME IS OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND WASHINGTON D.C. (EXCLUDING RESIDENTS OF MA, MI, AND U.S. TERRITORIES), WHO ARE TOBACCO CONSUMERS 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF PARTICIPATION AND HAVE A REGISTERED USERNAME (“USERNAME”) AND PASSWORD PROVIDED BY THE SPONSOR. GAME VOID IN MA, MI, U.S. TERRITORIES, AND WHEREVER PROHIBITED BY LAW. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ACQUIRE A USERNAME OR PARTICIPATE IN THE GAME. (To obtain a free Username, see Rule #3 below). Employees, officers, and directors (and their immediate families [spouse, children, parents, siblings, and their respective spouses] and those living in their same households) of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company (“Sponsor”), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, Web masters/suppliers, vendors, and contractors involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Game (collectively, “Promotion Parties”) are not eligible. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Game. Game subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
2. GAME PERIOD: Game begins at 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) Eastern Time (“ET”) on February 22, 2023 and ends at 11:59:59 a.m. ET on May 25, 2023 (“Game Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for this Game.
3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: To participate, you must be registered on the www.NewportPleasure.com website (“Website”) with an account and Username (as described in Rule #1). If you do not have a Username, see “How to obtain a free Username and update your Username contact information” below. To participate, log onto the Website during the Game Period and look for the Game link. Click on the indicated Game link and follow the online instructions to play for a chance to win an instant prize (subject to verification) (a “Play”). The first time you play the Game, you will be asked to read and agree to these Official Rules, which will “unlock the bet” to spin the roulette wheel. Nothing is actually staked or wagered. After the initial Game Play, logging in to the Website and clicking on the link to play the Game will “unlock” your bet for each Play. All entrants must have a valid Username, in addition to other eligibility requirements (as described in Rule #1).
During the Game Period, randomly selected times will be assigned to the various prizes, and the first qualified entrant who completes a Play in accordance with the online instructions (whose Play is properly received and recorded by Sponsor’s computer) at or after a randomly selected winning time will win the indicated instant win prize (subject to verification, see Rule #5). If your screen displays an instant win prize-winning message, you are an instant winner of the indicated prize (subject to verification, see Rule #5). If your screen does not display a prize-winning message, you are not a winner of an instant win prize. All Plays must be received and recorded during the Game Period. Entrants may be offered opportunities to receive an extra play in response to a request on the game screen after they finish playing. No more than three (3) extra plays can be earned by a single entrant throughout the duration of the Game Period.
Limit one (1) Play per person/Username per day and one (1) extra game play per person/username per day (subject to the three extra-play limit for the whole Game Period above). Availability of extra plays will be determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The extra play must be used immediately following the original play or it will be forfeited. A “day” is defined as the 24 hours between 12:00:00 a.m. (midnight) ET and 11:59:59 p.m. ET of the same day, except for the first day of the Game Period which begins at 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) ET and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET of the same day and the last day of the Game Period which begins at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and ends at 11:59:59 a.m. ET of the same day.
Plays generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Any attempt by any person to submit more than one (1) Play per day by using multiple/different Usernames or any other methods will void all of that person’s Plays. If a person fails to execute a Play on a given day for any reason, such person forfeits the Play for that day. An entrant’s Play for one day cannot be saved or combined with such entrant’s Play for any other day; each day’s Play by an entrant is a separate and independent event. If you Play using a mobile device, standard data charges may apply from your carrier.
Grand Prize Random Drawing: YOU MUST EITHER WIN AN INSTANT PRIZE OR PLAY THE GAME AT LEAST 70 TIMES DURING THE GAME PERIOD TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE GRAND PRIZE RANDOM DRAWING. NOT EVERY PARTICIPANT WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE GRAND PRIZE. Any participant who wins an instant win prize in the Game will be automatically included in the Grand Prize random drawing. In addition, any player who has logged at least seventy (70) Plays in the Game during the entire Game Period (not including any extra Plays) will be included in the Grand Prize random drawing. If you do not play the Game at least 70 times during the Game Period, you will NOT be eligible for the Grand Prize random drawing.
How to obtain a free Username and update your Username contact information: A valid Username issued by Sponsor and password will be required to participate in the Game. A Username and password can be obtained for free at the Website by registering. No responsibility is assumed for failure to contact an entrant due to that entrant’s failure to maintain or update his/her contact information. Contact information may be updated (subject to certain conditions imposed by Sponsor) by following the online instructions on the Website. Each entrant is responsible for the security of his/her Username and password. Each entrant should take precautions to keep his/her Username and password private to prevent unauthorized use. Sponsor will not be responsible for any losses, damages or consequences one may suffer due to careless or unauthorized use of a Username or password. Entrants must use only one (1) Username and password and must use the Username and password assigned to entrant by Sponsor. Should any entrant attempt to use more than one Username and/or password, or a Username and/or password that was not assigned to entrant, that entrant and their Plays will be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
By registering for a Username, entrants will automatically be added to the Sponsor’s email and mailing distribution list. You may subsequently opt out of either distribution list by calling toll-free 1-877-760-0778 or by logging on to the Website, clicking on the “FAQs” link located in the footer of the Website, and following the instructions under “How can I be removed from the Newport mailing/email list?” Opting out of either distribution list will not affect entrant’s chance of winning. If you are selected and verified as a winner, your information may also be included in a publicly-available winners’ list.
PRIZES
4. PRIZES/ODDS/FULFILLMENT:
One (1) Grand Prize: On or about May 26, 2023, Sponsor will select one (1) potential Grand Prize winner in a random drawing from among all eligible entries in the Grand Prize random drawing pool, as described above. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries in the Grand Prize random drawing pool. Grand Prize consists of a check in the amount of $15,000.00 made payable to the Grand Prize winner. Sponsor will notify potential Grand Prize winner by e-mail within three (3) business days of the drawing at the e-mail address associated with the potential winner’s Website account. Potential Grand Prize winner must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, as well as an IRS Form W-9, within ten days of receipt in order to the claim the Grand Prize. If a notification e-mail is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner does not return the required documents within the designated time period, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, the Grand Prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will select and notify an alternate winner according to the procedures above. Sponsor reserves the right not to award the Grand Prize if it is unable to confirm a winner after three attempts. Sponsor will mail the check to the winner’s home address within six to eight weeks following confirmation.

Receiving Your Prepaid Card
Your payment will be delivered via email with instructions for claiming your Visa® prepaid card. You must claim your card within 3 months of the date these instructions are sent via email. Your right to the payment expires after that time.
However, if a valid email address is not provided, a physical prepaid card will be sent to your mailing address on file.

Winner must accept prize as stated by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited. No cash in lieu of prize. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer a prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Odds of winning an instant win prize depend on whether or not your eligible Play corresponds to a randomly preselected winning time during the Game Period. Total value of all prizes offered is $105,100.00.
Limit one (1) instant win Prize per Username/address during the Game Period. Instant Prize winners are also eligible to win the Grand Prize.
