Hopper 3 DVR. This DVR can store up to 2,000 hours of HD programming and record 16 shows at once. Premium channels free for three months. When you sign up with DISH, you get three months of free premium channels, including Cinemax, HBO and Showtime. But remember to cancel the subscription after three months, or you’ll get charged for it after the trial ends.
Loads of sports. DISH offers ESPN in all packages, NFL Network in three out of four packages. Two packages also include MLB Network, NBA TV and the NHL Network.

Bottom Line
DISH is best for people who want to record a lot of shows and hardcore sports fans. However, it’s not the best solution for those who live in apartments or in areas with severe weather conditions.
