DCU is offering current DCU Visa Platinum cardholders no fees on balance transfers from 1/1/2023 to 2/28/2023 and a 0% promotional APR through your August statement. See details below.
Offer Details
Every January, DCU offers its DCU Visa Platinum cardholder an exclusive deal to transfer the balance from another credit card to your DCU Visa Platinum account with no fees and a 0% promotional APR through your statement ending in August 2023. The transfer must take place between January 1, 2023 and February 28, 2023.
Here’s how it works:
- Log into your Digital Banking account.
- Select Accounts, Click Credit Cards under YOUR ACCOUNTS to display your DCU VISA Credit Cards and click the credit card account you wish to transfer a balance to.
- On Desktop, select Manage and go to Balance Transfer in the dropdown. In the Mobile App, scroll down to Account Services, then select Balance Transfer.
- Choose your DCU Visa account and continue on to enter the amount that you’re transferring along with the card issuer information, verify the information and we’ll take care of the rest!
Terms:
- 0% APR applies only to non-DCU credit card balances transferred through DCU’s online balance transfer tool completed between 1/1/23 and 11:59pm ET on 2/28/23.
- Balance Transfers must be paid in full by the end of your August 2023 billing cycle on either August 10th or August 20th, as reflected on your monthly statement, or interest will begin to accrue on the remaining balance at your standard balance transfer APR and will continue to accrue each day the balance remains on your DCU Platinum credit card account.
- Minimum transfer requirement is $100.
- 0% APR is not eligible on other types of cash advances or purchases made during the promotional period.
- Account must remain in good standing throughout promotional period for promotional rate to continue.
- You should continue to make all required payments to the other credit card account(s) until you confirm the balance transfer(s) was made and the payment(s) reflects as a credit.
- Offer valid only for cardholders as of 12/31/2022.
- Offer not valid for DCU Visa Business Platinum or Business Visa Platinum Plus.
Bottom Line
Previous years’ offers required payment by June or July, so this year’s offer is more generous.
