Update 5/26/23: The welcome bonus decreased from up to 100,000 to 75,000 Avios points, but the spending requirement is also less. The previous offer was to earn 75K Avios points after spending $5,000 within the first 3 months and another 25K Avios points after spending $20,000 within the first 12 months.
The British Airways Visa Signature® Card was designed for loyal British Airways customers who enjoy strategizing to get the most value out of their Avios. But be forewarned, the surcharges on certain reward tickets can be pretty steep. Luckily, this card is also useful for booking on partner airlines with your rewards.
You earn 3 Avios per $1 spent on purchases with British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia, and LEVEL within your first 18 months from account opening. It’s 2 Avios per $1 spent on hotel accommodations when you book directly with the hotel within your first 18 months. Plus 1 Avios per $1 spent on all other purchases.
When you spend $30,000 in a calendar year, you’ll earn a Travel Together Ticket good for two years. There are no foreign transaction fees with this card and the annual fee is $95.

- Earn 3 Avios for every $1 spent on British Airways, Aer Lingus, and Iberia flight purchases.
- Earn 2 Avios for every $1 spent on hotel accommodations booked directly with the hotel.
- Earn 1 Avios for every $1 spent on all other purchases.
- 10% off British Airways flights starting in the US when you book through the website provided in your welcome materials.
- Up To $600 Reward Flight Statement Credits: $100 for Economy and Premium Economy – or $200 for Business and First Class seats – three times per year, up to $600, when you book a reward flight to London traveling on British Airways and pay taxes, fees and carrier charges with your card.
- Earn a Travel Together Ticket every calendar year you make $30,000 in purchases on your British Airways credit card. Valid for two years when you redeem Avios for a flight on British Airways for a companion traveling on the same flight, or use it for a 50% discount on the Avios price you pay when booking a solo reward flight.
