SmartyPig is an online bank that is set up to help guide customers to earn more with their Savings. Operating strictly online, they can offer better rates than traditional banks and without any fees.
A SmartyPig account is set up essentially like your usual FDIC insured Savings account, with the federally-mandated limitation of six withdrawals per statement cycle. SmartyPig deposits are held and insured through Sallie Mae Bank.
While not market leading when compared to other nationally available accounts, SmartyPig typically earns a respectable rate. One advantage for SmartyPig account holders is the available referral program, where you can earn $10 per qualified referral, up to $1,000 max.
Be sure to compare SmartyPig’s rates against the top Savings Accounts here.
See our bank offers page for other offers. Top offers can be found from TD Bank, Chase Bank, Bank of America, BBVA, HSBC Bank, and many more.
