How SeatGeek Works
SeatGeek scours all over the web for tickets and organizes what they find in an efficient and user-friendly platform, available both on desktop and on mobile.
The tickets for purchase on SeatGeek come from primary markets that give a certain part of their inventory to SeatGeek or from the secondary market (tickets up for resell).
When you go to the SeatGeek site, the platform will detect your location and automatically displays a grid of events in your area. Search for events by navigating categories, selecting a city or entering a key term in SeatGeek’s search box. If you want to view events by certain dates, you can filter the results that way.
Once you select an event, you can view the venue address, date and seating chart.
To buy tickets on SeatGeek, you’ll need to select an event date and seat (if applicable). Then enter your name, email address and payment information.
If you create a SeatGeek account, you can “track” events that interest you to your account. They’ll notify you when relevant shows are announced or if there’s a drop in ticket prices.
SeatGeek is an excellent option if you’re looking to buy tickets to popular and sold-out events. Instead of taking the time to search all over the web, SeatGeek compiles it all into one quick and easy-to-use platform.
