About The Contest
Eligibility M&Ms Purple Sweeps (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (and the District of Columbia) who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and the age of majority in their state of residence (19+ in Alabama and Nebraska; 21+ in Mississippi) at the time of entry.Sponsor and Sweepstakes Administrator Sponsor: Mars Wrigley Confectionery US, LLC 800 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Timing Sweepstakes begins on January 28, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. ET and ends March 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET
The Sweepstakes Period includes nine (9) weekly entry periods (each, an “Entry Period”), each starting on each Saturday of the Sweepstakes Period at 12:00 AM ET and ending at 11:59:59 PM ET the following Friday, except on January 28, 2023 when a day begins at 9:00 a.m. ET and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. Non-winning entries will carry forward into subsequent Entry Period drawings. The Sweepstakes Administrator’s computer is the Sweepstakes official clock.
How to Enter There are two (2) ways to enter:
a) Enter via Instagram: During the Sweepstakes Entry Period: 1) make your own recipe creation including Purple M&M’s and snap a photo or video of your finished product (the “Submission”); and 2) post the Submission publicly as a permanent in-feed post (not a “story”) on your public Instagram account with a caption explaining your M&Ms recipe creation and use the hashtag #MMSPurpleSweeps. By using the hashtags, participant indicates his/her/their agreement to these Official Rules. You will receive one (1) entry for this method of entry (each an “Entry”). Entrant’s Instagram settings must be public. Entries uploaded from “private” Instagram accounts will not be eligible. By submitting an Entry, entrants agree to Instagram’s Terms of Use. This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook, Inc., or Meta, Inc. Sponsor will not receive Entries from Instagram users with “protected” or “private” accounts or profiles that are not public (i.e. user has set the Account so that only people the user has approved can view updates). Entries not received by the Sponsor will not be entered into the Sweepstakes. Incomplete Entries will not be accepted and are void.
b) Enter for Free Online: To enter the Sweepstakes without making a purchase visit https://www.dailybreak.com/embed/…roger-amoe during the Sweepstakes Entry Period and complete all required registration information to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
Limit of one (1) Entry per person during the Sweepstakes Entry Period, regardless of method of entry.
Winner Determination On or about the dates below there will be one winner in a random drawing among all entries during the applicable Entry Period. Since there are nine (9) Entry Periods there will be nine (9) winners. Failure by a potential winner to respond to said contact within two (2) days of notification will result in disqualification, and Sweepstakes Administrator will select an alternate potential winner in the same manner. It is recommended that you confirm your Instagram notification settings are turned on. Any potential prize winner who does not reply to a prize notification with the required information and within the specified time period will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be notified. Non-winning Entries will carry forward into subsequent Entry Period drawings.
PRIZES
Prizes/Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”)/Odds Nine (9) prizes are available to be won. Each prize winner will receive one (1) Five Hundred Dollar ($500 USD) Kroger Gift Card (the “Prize”). If winner does not live within fifty (50) miles of a Kroger, Barclay Jewelers, Baker’s, City Market, Copps, Dillons, Food 4 Less, Foods Co., Fred Meyer, Fred Meyer Jewelers, Fry’s Food and Drug, Gerbes, JayC, King Soopers, Littman Jewelers, Mariano’s, Metro Market, Owen’s, Pay Less Supermarkets, Pick ‘n Save, QFC, Ralphs, or Smith’s Food and Drug store, winner may elect to receive one (1) Five Hundred Dollar ($500 USD) alternative e-gift card instead of the Kroger Gift Card. The Kroger Gift Cards and any alternative e-gift cards are not redeemable for cash, will not be replaced if lost or stolen, and are each subject to the issuing company’s terms and conditions, including any applicable expiration dates. The ARV of each Prize is $500 USD. The total ARV of all Prizes available to be won: USD $4,500.00.
There is a limit of one (1) prize per person.
