Terms From Hotels.com
- These terms (the “Terms”) govern your participation in the Hotels.com Refer-a-Friend Program (the “Program”). Please read them carefully. By participating in the Program, you automatically indicate your unconditional agreement to these Terms.
- Eligibility: The Program is open to Hotels.com members in the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years old. However, individuals who are employed in the travel industry, including hotels, travel agencies, and airlines are not eligible to participate in the Program.
- Timing: The Program is currently scheduled to end on April 1, 2020. However, we reserve the right to change the end date at any time, in our sole discretion.
- How to Participate: To participate, you can use the referral links available on the Program page to refer eligible friends to Hotels.com, either via e-mail or on Facebook. An eligible friend is one who: (a) is a United States resident and least eighteen (18) years old; (b) has never previously received Hotels.com newsletters or booked on Hotels.com; and (c) is not employed in the travel industry, including hotels, travel agencies, and airlines. Each eligible person that you refer will receive a coupon that can be used on their first qualifying booking on Hotels.com. There is a limit of one (1) coupon per referred friend.
- Rewards: If an eligible friend that you referred clicks on the link in the e-mail or Facebook post that you initiated, makes a qualifying booking, and completes their hotel stay, you will also receive a coupon that can be used on your next qualifying booking on Hotels.com. Please allow seven (7) business days after your friend’s completed stay to receive the coupon. Note that if a referred friend makes a booking through any method other than by clicking on the link the e-mail or Facebook post that you initiated, you will not receive a coupon.
- Coupon Terms: Complete coupon terms, including values, any minimum requirements, booking deadlines, and other restrictions will be provided at the time coupons are earned. You may receive a maximum of ten (10) coupons per offer in this Program.
- General Terms: You may not attempt to make referrals by providing names of people you don’t know, sending unsolicited e-mails, by posting on sites in a manner that violates the terms of use of those sites, or by providing false information. Hotels.com reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and seek damages from any individual who tampers with the operation of the Program, violates these Terms, or engages in other conduct that Hotels.com, in its sole discretion, determines to be disruptive or contrary to the spirit of the Program. Any decisions that Hotels.com makes in connection with the Program are final and binding.
- Modification and Termination: Hotels.com reserves the right to modify any of these terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice, even though these changes may affect your ability to earn or redeem coupons. We also reserve the right to terminate the Program at any time, for any reason, even though termination may affect your ability to earn or redeem coupons. Your continued participation in the Program constitutes your acceptance of any changes made to these Terms. You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about any changes we may make to these Program Terms. The most current version of the Terms will be available on the Program page.

You are limited to 10 referral bonuses ($500 total). This offer is open to Hotels.com members in the United States who are at least 18 years of age. However, those who are employed in the travel industry, including hotels, travel agencies and airlines, are not eligible.

To search for accommodation, simply enter your destination and dates. The site will then give you all available listings. You can sort by star or guest rating, price and distance from landmarks. There’s even a function to sort by Hotel.com favorites. These include deals of the day and other promotions like Secret Deals.
Filter your results to show hotels with certain amenities or accessibility requirements. There’s also an option to filter by accommodation type, like hostel, guest house and vacation home.
While you can also book flights, tickets for attractions and vacation packages, you can’t reserve rental cars via Hotels.com.
Hotels.com Rewards
The Hotels.com rewards program lets you earn free nights for your loyalty. For every 10 nights you stay, get one night free. There are no blackout dates, but your free night is limited to participating properties.
Frequent Hotels.com guests can move up to Silver and Gold status tiers:
Silver. This level gives you priority customer service and early access to special deals and offers. To unlock these benefits, you need to stay 10 nights in one year.
Gold. Stay 30 nights a year and you’ll also get special deals reserved exclusively for members of this tier.
