Typical of most personalized services, Firstleaf starts off with a short online questionnaire. You’ll respond with what kind(s) of wines you like to drink, which regions you prefer, and how much wine you drink in a month. It also asks what foods you like and dislike to better understand your palate.
Firstleaf will then present you with a recommendation of six wines. If you decide to continue the subscription after the introductory offer, the cost is around $90 for six wines, including shipping, which comes out to just $15 a bottle. You can set the delivery frequency to every one, two or three months, choose another delivery date or cancel your subscription at any time.
Once you’ve tried the wines you received, log into your account and rate each one. If you loved all six bottles, you can reorder them for $90.
