The new Chase DoorDash Mastercard has arrived, offering rewards, discounts, and credit card protections for users of the popular food delivery app. With no annual fee, this card is a great option for those who frequently order from DoorDash and want to earn rewards on their purchases.
The card also offers an underwhelming sign-up bonus. New cardholders can earn a $100 cash bonus after spending $500 on purchases in the first 3 months of opening the account. Users also receive a free year of DashPass, a membership that offers $0 delivery fees and lower service fees on eligible orders, as well as 5% DoorDash credits back on pickup orders and exclusive member-only offers.
The DoorDash Rewards Mastercard offers cash back rewards on a variety of purchases. Users can earn 4% cash back on DoorDash and Caviar orders, 3% cash back on dining purchases made directly from a restaurant, 2% cash back on grocery store purchases, and 1% cash back on all other purchases. Rewards can be redeemed for DoorDash or Caviar orders, statement credits, direct deposits, or gift cards. The rewards don’t expire as long as the account remains open.
The card also provides several other perks and benefits, including $25 off the first two Nationwide Shipping orders of $100 or more, a 10% discount on convenience, grocery, alcohol, and DashMart purchases, a $5 credit for DoorDash orders, and a $5 Lyft credit after taking three rides in one calendar month when paying with the card. The card also offers auto rental collision damage waiver, trip cancellation or interruption coverage, extended warranty protection, and purchase protection.
