A good web browser is one that’s fast and secure. While Google Chrome is the most popular browser worldwide, it’s not the fastest nor the most secure on the market. Extensions
Brave is built on the Chromium platform, which is what Chrome, Vivaldi and Opera uses, so most Chrome extensions, like Google Docs Offline, will work on Brave. This feature makes for an easy browser swap.
Brave Rewards
Advertising income, however, is essential in the browser business. And Brave has come up with a genius solution to this problem – Brave Rewards. Instead of tempting you to click on random ads, the browser anonymously calculates how much attention you give to the sites you visit. Once a month, Brave will compensate those sites.
And there’s another twist.
Brave Rewards isn’t based on the US Dollar. It uses a cryptocurrency (find bitcoin & other crypto promos here) called Basic Attention Token (BAT) on the Ethereum blockchain. The reason? Blockchain digital advertising provides a decentralized and transparent digital ad exchange. As its name implies the value of the token is determined by user attention.
