About the Offer

Reportedly, American Express has been offering enormous bonuses for the Amex Business Gold and Amex Business Platinum cards. These targeted offers are sent by mail to very few customers, but based on online public sources, you can call Amex at 855-531-3491 to apply over the phone and request the offer.

Here’s the offer you can try to get by applying over the phone:

250,000 Membership Rewards points after you spend $30,000 on your new card within the first 6 months of card membership.
Plus, 10,000 points for adding an authorized user.

This is the best offer for the Amex Business Platinum that we’ve ever seen, but it is not publicly available. It is highly YMMV.

The offer is likely to contain the lifetime language. The Amex Lifetime Rule allows you to only get one sign-up bonus per credit card from American Express. Even if you had the card before and didn’t get a bonus, you won’t be able to get a bonus on the same card. Sometimes Amex sends out targeted offers without the lifetime language.
