Fine Print

• A new Business Checking customer is someone who has not had a business checking relationship with Amalgamated Bank in the last 90 calendar days.
• To qualify for the promotion:
  • Fund your account and maintain a minimum average balance for 3 consecutive months.
  • Meet the qualifying transactions after one full calendar month from account opening.
  • Example: If you opened an account on May 22, 2023, you must fund the account by June 30, 2023, to be eligible for the promotion.
• Once the Bank confirms that you have met the requirements, the cash bonus will be credited to your checking account within 45 calendar days from the date you fulfilled the requirements.

Bottom Line

The $300 bonus may not be worth pursuing since placing $15,000 in a 5% earning account would generate $187.5 in interest anyway.
