Visible only offers one plan with no options to customize it. It is what it is, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Especially if you enjoy simplicity.
Visible’s one-and-only plan costs $40 a month (taxes and fees included), and you’ll get unlimited everything. Voice, text, data and hotspot. There’s also no contract, so you can leave whenever you want.
Once upon a time, there was a speed cap to contend with, but Visible has done away with it (for a limited time). That’s right, you don’t have to deal with the annoying data throttling that usually comes with cheap data plans.

Verizon has some of the best coverage in the United States. And Visible has access to that extensive network.
Everything you need to do with Visible, you can do so in app. Buy a phone. Order a SIM card. View your balance, payment due date and payment history. Pay with a credit card, PayPal and even Venmo. Plus, there’s a live chat available 24/7 if you have any questions.
Although you get free mobile hotspot access, speeds are capped at 5Mbps. And, you can only tether to one device at a time.
That said, a lot of carriers charge extra for this feature, so we’re happy to see Visible includes this in the first place.
Visible Drawbacks
A one-size-fits-all plan never fits “all.” And that’s the case with Visible. Let’s go over some potential problems you might find with the cellular service provider.
Visible customers currently enjoy unlimited high speed data for now and for as long as you stay with the service. However, this new member benefit won’t last forever. If you want unlimited high speed data, we suggest you sign up now.
As mentioned earlier, there are only a few Android smartphones that are compatible with Visible. The company will likely add more in the future, but you’re stuck with a dozen or so options for now.
Visible only works in the continental United States and Hawaii. You won’t get service in American territories – like Puerto Rico, Guam and American Samoa – or any other destination abroad, including Mexico and Canada.
Bottom Line
If you can live with its shortcomings, Visible is an excellent option for unlimited high-speed data, talk and text. At just $40 a month, it’s really tough to beat.
