How to Redeem the 10% Discount
You have two options: you can either visit united.com or use the United mobile app to make your booking.
Option 1: United.com
- Go to the united.com home page and sign into your MileagePlus account. If you don’t have an account, you can create one easily.
- Once you’re signed in, click on the “Book Flight” button. Here, you will need to enter your origin, destination, travel dates, and any other search criteria.
- After entering your travel details, click on the “Advanced search” link. This will allow you to access additional options and features.
- In the “Promotions and certificates” field, enter the promo code TAKEOFF10. Make sure there are no spaces in the code. Then, click on the “Search” button.
- Your search results will display flights that are eligible for the discount. The price shown will already reflect the discounted amount.
- Once you’ve chosen your flights, select your seats and proceed with the booking process.

Option 2: United mobile app
- Open the United mobile app and sign into your MileagePlus account. If you don’t have the app yet, you can download it for free from your app store and create an account.

- Similar to the united.com option, click on the “Advanced search” link to access more features.
- In the “Promo code” field, enter the code TAKEOFF10. Again, make sure there are no spaces in the code. Tap on the “Search” button.
- Your search results will display flights eligible for the discount, with the discounted price already shown.
- Select your preferred flights, choose your seats, and proceed with the booking process.
If you happen to forget entering the promotion code in the “Advanced search” link, don’t worry. You can still apply the code on the “Review booking” screen by entering it in the “Have a promo code?” field, as long as you have selected eligible fares.
