The new credit cards are aimed at providing consumers with more flexibility and simplicity when it comes to credit.
One of the most notable new offerings is TD Clear, which is a subscription-based credit card that charges a monthly fee in place of interest charges. The card offers consumers two options: a $10 monthly fee for a $1,000 credit limit or a $20 monthly fee for a $2,000 credit limit. TD Clear does not charge any hidden fees, including annual fees, foreign transaction fees, cash advance fees, or returned payment fees. This makes TD Clear an attractive option for consumers who want a predictable and straightforward solution to credit.
TD FlexPay is another new credit card that offers consumers increased flexibility. The card provides cardholders with the option to schedule a Skip a Payment once a year, subject to eligibility requirements. TD FlexPay also offers TD’s best balance transfer offer to help cardholders consolidate existing card balances. Cardholders can take advantage of 0% intro APR for the first 18 billing cycles after account opening.
In addition to the new credit cards, TD Bank has also made enhancements to its existing rewards credit cards, TD Double Up and TD Cash. TD Double Up now offers 2% Cash Back on all purchases with no opt-ins, limits, or categories required. Previously, cardholders only earned the full 2% if they redeemed their rewards into a qualifying TD Bank Deposit account, which is no longer required. TD Cash continues to offer its flexible 3-2-1 rewards, with the added benefit of being able to customize categories quarterly to optimize rewards.
All of the credit cards come with a suite of benefits for cardholders, including cell phone protection, roadside assistance options, and Visa Purchase Protection, in partnership with Visa.
