KOHO Referral Bonus: Get 3 Months of Everything Free (Canada)

KOHO has changed its referral program. A new referred customer can now receive three months of the Everything plan free, an advertised value of $66, after signing up through a valid referral and completing the qualifying steps.

The existing MoneysMyLife article describes an older $20 cash welcome offer. The current public KOHO page instead advertises the plan trial for the new customer and a plan-dependent cash reward of up to $100 for the referrer.

• A Reddit post advertised a $40 cash referral code, but I could not verify that amount in KOHO’s public terms. Check the exact benefit displayed during enrollment before completing signup.
• KOHO says the referrer’s reward varies by plan. The public page advertises up to $100 and separately says non-members receive $20.
• After the free period, the Everything plan may renew at its then-current price unless canceled. Confirm the renewal price and cancellation date in the KOHO app.
• The referred customer must be new to KOHO, complete verification, and make the $20 purchase within 30 days.
• Purchases can be made online or in person with a physical or virtual card.
• KOHO may change or end the program. Confirm the referral terms shown in the app before participating.

Is the KOHO Referral Offer Worth It?

I think the referral is most useful for someone in Canada who already wants to try KOHO’s paid Everything plan. The required $20 card purchase is manageable, but set a reminder before the free period ends so you can decide whether the ongoing subscription is worth the cost.
