Co-Op Services credit union in the Michigan area is giving customers $105 to switch to their free Checking account.
*For bank promotions in other states, see my full list of promos here.
The main selling point Co-Op Services is promoting is that their Checking account won’t charge you all the crazy fees many other banks do.
Direct Deposit IS required for the full bonus.
Getting Your $105 Bonus:
Here’s how this promotion works, and it’s kind of funny actually. When you go into a branch and open a Co-Op Services Free Checking account and shred your current bank debit card in the office, they’ll give you $5. For the other $100 bonus, you’ll have to set up direct deposit, e-statements, and a debit card.
Once the direct deposit is verified, you’ll get that remaining $100.
If you’re in the area and pay anywhere from $8-12 a month in bank fees like the average customer of a major bank, this may interest you.
