Citi sent emails to select Citi Custom Cash or Citi Double Cash cardholders, offering 4X points on select categories. There are several versions of the offer, but some of the categories are:
- Grocery category
- Gas category
- Hardware Stores, Home Improvement Stores, Lawn & Garden Supply Stores, Home Furnishing Stores
- Online purchases

Bottom Line
This a targeted offer so not all cardholders receive the email. This is on top of your regular earnings, so if it is a 5X category, you would get 9X points on your purchases.
