American Express is offering select Delta Skymiles Gold Business cardholders 40,000 bonus miles for upgrading their card to the Delta Skymiles Platinum Business Card. You need to spend $4,000 in purchases on the Card in the first six months of Card Membership to earn the bonus miles.
This offer doesn’t stack with the regular welcome bonus for new Skymiles Platinum Business applicants, which is currently 60,000 miles and 5,000 MQMs after you spend $3,000 in purchases. But this deal is great for those that already had the card and previously earned the welcome bonus. You normally wouldn’t be able to get the sign-up bonus again but with this offer, you can get 40,000 bonus miles to upgrade if you’re currently a Skymiles Gold Business cardholder.
Card Details
The Delta Skymiles Platinum Business Card earns 3 miles on every dollar spent on eligible purchases made directly with Delta and on every eligible dollar spent on purchases made directly with hotels. Earn 1.5 miles per dollar on single eligible purchases of $5,000 or more (that’s an extra half point per dollar), up to 50,000 additional miles per year.
