Wells Fargo is converting all of its Amex Propel credit cards to the newly launched Wells Fargo Autograph Card. The conversion will take place on May 24, 2023, and customers will receive their new cards by the end of June.

Wells Fargo has some news for its Propel credit cardholders. If you have an Amex Wells Fargo Propel, Amex Wells Fargo Propel 365, or Amex Wells Fargo Propel World card, your card will be converted to the Wells Fargo Autograph Card starting May 24, 2023. This means your current card will no longer work.

Don’t worry though, you will receive your new Autograph Card by the end of June 2023. Your rewards balance will be transferred from your existing card to your new one.
If you have any automatic payments set up with merchants, make sure to update them with your new card information so you don’t miss any payments.
If you have the Amex Wells Fargo Propel World, make sure to use your $100 airline reimbursement credit before your account is converted to the new Autograph Card on May 24, 2023. Also, be aware that your annual relationship bonus will go away once your account is converted, and you will receive your bonus amount on your anniversary date or after your Propel Card deactivates on 8/04/2023, whichever comes first.
If you’re not happy with the changes, you can opt out by calling 1-866-568-6521. But keep in mind, if you opt out, your account will be closed and you won’t be able to use it for new transactions.
