AmEx Business Gold 130,000 Points Bonus Through Referrals (Targeted)

Some users are seeing a 130,000 bonus points offer for the American Express Business Gold Card through referral links from current cardholders. It’s targeted, so YMMV.

We’ve seen big offers for the business versions of AmEx cards, usually through targeted links. But if you have never had an Amex Business Gold Card before, some people are now getting the best bonus ever through referrals. You can get 130,000 Membership Rewards points and maybe another 30,000 as a bonus for referring other people.

About The Offer

Applicants who have or have had this Card can’t get the welcome offer. They may also look at how many American Express Cards you have opened and closed, among other things, when deciding if you are eligible for the welcome offer.

• Earn 130,000 Membership Rewards points after you spend $10,000 or more on eligible purchases on your Card within your first 3 months of Card Membership starting from the date your account is approved.
• Annual Fee: $295

• Earn 4X Membership Rewards points on the top 2 categories where your business spent the most each billing cycle from the list below, plus earn 1X on other purchases. Categories:
  • Airfare purchased directly from airlines
  • U.S. purchases for advertising in select media (online, TV, radio)
  • U.S. purchases made directly from select technology providers of computer hardware, software, and cloud solutions
  • U.S. purchases at gas stations
  • U.S. purchases at restaurants, including takeout and delivery
  • U.S. purchases for shipping
• 4X points applies to the first $150,000 in combined purchases from these 2 categories each calendar year then earn 1 point per dollar.
• Earn 1X Points on other select purchases made using your Business Gold card.
• Book your flight with American Express Travel using Membership Rewards Pay with Points and get 25% of those points back.

Bottom Line

This is one of the best sign-up bonuses the Amex Business Gold Card has ever had. To get the 130,000 Membership Rewards points, you have to spend $10,000 in the first three months. That’s a lot of money to spend, so make sure you can do it before you apply.
