Get up to 50% bonus value when you redeem your Chase Ultimate Rewards points for Apple products in the Ultimate Rewards portal. The bonus percentage you get back depends on which Chase card you use. See below.
- Update 11/2/23: The deal is back through 11/30/23.
- Update 11/1/22: Deal is back and valid through 12/31/22.
Chase has been one of the most flexible credit card companies over the past few years, changing bonus categories and offering new ways to use points.
This is especially true for cards that focus on travel, like the Chase Sapphire Reserve and Chase Sapphire Preferred Card.
And now, Chase is bringing back an offer where eligible cardholders can get up to 50% more value when they buy any Apple product through Ultimate Rewards.
Ultimate Rewards Bonus For Apple Products
- Redeem Ultimate Rewards points to get Apple merchandise through the Chase portal with bonus value of up to 50% more on the points.
Here’s the offer breakdown:
- Sapphire Reserve: 50% bonus
- Sapphire Preferred: 25% bonus
- INK Preferred/Plus: 25% bonus
- Freedom cards and the no-fee Sapphire card: 10% bonus (20% on Airpods)
- Ink Cash/Unlimited: 10% bonus (20% on Airpods)
Each point used to be worth 1 cent, but now it can be worth up to 1.5 cents. For example, you would normally need 60,000 Ultimate Rewards points to buy a $600 Apple Watch through the Ultimate Rewards portal. Now, Sapphire Reserve cardholders only need 40,000 points.
Bottom Line
Through the end of November, Chase cardholders who are eligible will be able to spend 1.1 to 1.5 cents per Ultimate Reward on Apple products.
Most of the time, these redemptions aren’t a good way to spend your points, but if there’s a good deal going on, there are a few times when it might make sense. Not every Chase credit card gives you 1.5 cents per point, so this promotion is best for people who have the Sapphire Reserve.
