When you join InterMiles, you’ll automatically become a BASE member. Move up status tiers when you collect enough Eligible Miles, which you earn by spending on various InterMiles platforms, flying with Jet Airways airline partners, or spending with InterMiles program partners, within a 12-month period.

Rumor has it that Jet Airways is set to relaunch this year under new management. The goal is to serve all of Jet’s past domestic slots, while reclaiming hubs in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
New owners Kalrock Capital and Murari Lal Jalan also aim to have Jet flying internationally within a year.
Bottom Line
Although Jet Airways isn’t actively operating, you might consider joining InterMiles if you have a credit card that earns Citi ThankYou Rewards and you can make use of InterMiles redemptions.
For better use of your Citi ThankYou Rewards, consider joining Air France – KLM Flying Blue, Etihad Guest or Singapore Krisflyer instead.
