The BBVA Visa Business Rewards Credit Card has an offer for 20,000 bonus points when your company spends $3,000 within the first 90 days (ways to meet this spending requirement). We value these points to be worth around $200. Although not the best welcome offer out there, it’s a generous one for a no-annual-fee business card.
The Business Rewards card offers a base rate of 1x points on all purchases, with bonuses at office supply stores (3x points) and at gas stations and restaurants (2x points).
The BBVA Business Rewards card is a particularly good fit for business owners with less than stellar credit. It’s one of the rare cards that will consider applicants with average scores.
Unfortunately, there’s a catch. Eligibility is very limited, and the card is only available to companies that operate in seven states (more on that later).

BBVA Business Rewards Card 20,000 Bonus Points Offer
Take advantage of the BBVA Business Rewards card’s 20,000 bonus points offer. Our valuation puts these points at around $200 (more on that below).
To qualify, charge at least $3,000 to your card within the first 90 days of opening your account.
Here are some ideas on meeting the spending requirement.
What Are BBVA Points Worth?
Unlike other business credit cards, the value of your points stay constant, no matter how you use them. Also unlike other business cards, you only have two options when it comes time to redeem your points:
- Statement credits
- Gift cards
The value for either one is $0.01 per point, and you must use at least 2,500 points (or $25) at a time.
*Points expire 36 months from the date they were earned.
BBVA Business Rewards Card Availability
The BBVA Business Rewards Card is only available to companies that operate near a BBVA Bank. That includes:
- New Mexico
Otherwise, you’ll want to consider a business credit card that’s available nationwide.
The BBVA Visa Business Rewards credit card makes it easy to rack up points because it offers bonuses on a wide variety of business-relevant spending. What’s more, business owners with only average credit may qualify.
But if you want a bigger sign-up bonus and more perks – and you have a better credit score – then you’ll want to give this business credit card a pass.
